The Water Resources Department, Jharkhand, has undertaken modernisation of Malay reservoir scheme in Palamu district of Jharkhand.
The work involves extension, restoration and modernisation of Malay main canal, Lesiganj branch canal and all its distributaries under the project.
In February 2018, Kamladityya Construction bagged the order worth Rs 158.54 crore for the project and soon the work commenced.
As per the latest information available with Projects Today, work has been delayed due to unfavourable climatic conditions. Currently work on the project is underway with completion rescheduled for March 2020.
